Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"A lifesaver for those traveling with children who won't eat anything but pizza :-). Venice is full of places serving mediocre pizza, but that's not the case here. The line of locals convinced us that we were in the right place. All three pizzas were very good. And despite the number of orders ahead of us, we didn't have to wait long at all."
"We were drawn in by the exceptionally high rating. When we arrived, we saw it was just a tiny little spot — more of a takeaway pizza place than a restaurant. But there are a few seats inside where you can grab a quick bite. We were very hungry, so we picked from the pizzas that were already prepared and on display. You can get slices, a small whole pizza, or order a larger one. We chose a couple of slices — Margherita and salami — and had them warmed up on the spot. Honestly, the pizza was absolutely amazing. Simple, but full of flavor — just perfect. We also had some lemonades, and they were surprisingly delicious too. Small place, big taste. Definitely worth a visit."
"In one word; Amazing! Delicious, fresh vegetables, cheese and good service. I appreciated to him. He was also such a wonderful chef. He is an expert about pizza. I hope all the best for him."
"If you go get the Maxi pizza be advised - you will get the Maxi pizza. They are 1:1 comparable to the giant one lying on the counter sold in slices. Make sure you are really, REALLY hungry if you make the same choice as I did.... Also make sure your hair is okay as people laughingly will take pictures of your stupidly large pizza if you eat it by the window of the shop! Pizza was delicious all the way through and really cheap - just be advised, not many seats inside so probably best for takeaway. Love, Denmark!"
"Very very tasty pizza We saw a lot of locals buying from this place which is a good sign. This is a small place, more like pizza to go, but it's worth it"
"Better than any “elevated” restaurant pizza in Venice. You can get a large MAXI pizza for 10-12 euros or 1 normal sized pizza for 5-7 euros. No fuss, no frills, no fancy pretense… just really good, thin crust pizza for a good price. Almost no seating inside and one is expected to eat it while seated by the canal, which is what most people do when hanging out in the Jewish Quarter of town. I will return here again and try the artichoke pizza next time."
"Delicious pizza in a peaceful section of Venice. You can order plain pizza by the slice or full pizzas (personal and large) with many toppings options. There are a few seats by the window or you can sit outside on the canal steps. We arrived shortly after opening so it wasn't crowded. The workers were also friendly. A great spot for some good pizza after exploring Venice."
"Great takeaway spot. Pizza was excellent and very well priced. My wife even said it was the best pizza she's ever had. You know it's going to be good when you see the locals eating there too. Order can take 10-15 minutes, so it's also a great spot to have a nice glass of wine by the canal from the bar next door while waiting!"
